I am at a loss for motivation. But it's okay, because I go to shows all the time and that is SO much better for my education than science. On Saturday, I went to a local production of cabaret with my parents in north van, and seroiusly, who needs liza minelli now? It was A+ amazing. Neil Diamond impersonator = best emcee I've ever seen. And also, those groin suspenders were SO unflattering and amusing. Nearly as good as dave's getup at the beer garden.
On Thursday, we went to Pride and Prejudice. Although I was reluctant to accept a mr. darcy that was NOT colin firth, I was pretty in love with new darcy AND keira knightley both by the end. It was perfectly lovely. Tonight I went to La Ronde, a german play about 10 different sexual encouters. I thought it was too long and a bit redundant, and not satirical enough. But I like german plays in translation, and the first 7 scenes were pretty great.
I think that I might go to Rent on Wednesday although I still don't know how I feel about a film adaptation of that because my fave musical of all time. And, oh, I bought coldplay tickets this morning, and besh, you may laugh at my mainstreamness, but I don't care. You are ambivalent about chaos. OH and canucks and my dad on thursday.
So all in all there is no school. It's essentially been a wonderful wonderufl holiday for the past 10 days where I sleep in till 12 everyday and don't go to class forever ever, forever ever. Except biochem because I like black urine and frantic writing of chemical structures. Tomorrow I might go to class a little bit. Maybe. I'm sure once I get my probably failed genetics midterm back, my type-A ness will rear it's ugly head, and I'll try the library again.
Okay, I have some serious on-line gaming to do. Or maybe ebay purusing. Because I am now the proud owner of a visa.
Goodnight.
